Fallen Project

The law enforcement profession is inherently dangerous and presents a wide range of risks to the officers, deputies and agents who serve in this capacity. Law enforcement officers face the threat of physical harm, injury, or even death on a daily basis while performing their duties. They are exposed to dangerous situations, such as responding to active crime scenes or chasing fleeing suspects, that can put their lives in jeopardy. In addition, law enforcement officers are often exposed to psychological and emotional stress that can have long-term effects on their mental health. The nature of their work requires them to be constantly alert and vigilant, which can take a toll on their overall wellbeing. Despite the risks, law enforcement officers are committed to serving and protecting their communities, often at great personal cost. It is essential that we recognize the sacrifices that they make and support them in their efforts to maintain public safety.

"Fallen" is a police documentary directed by Thomas Marchese and produced by Darkroom Films. The film pays tribute to police officers who have died in the line of duty while also shedding light on the impact of their deaths on their families and fellow officers. It features interviews with family members, colleagues, and friends of fallen officers as they share their memories and experiences. The documentary also examines the challenges faced by police officers in the line of duty and the emotional toll it takes on them. Through its poignant storytelling, "Fallen" offers a unique perspective on the bravery and sacrifice of law enforcement officers and the importance of recognizing their service to their communities.
